The Death of Myth-Making is an ongoing series of public performance cycles directed and written by the parafictional character Claire Fischer. Each cycle spans three days, over the course of which Claire’s hired stand-ins deliver monologues, written autobiographically by Claire, for two hours each day across various locations in Chicago. Over the course of the performance cycles, the modes of documentation change.
